On Revolutionary, we have four types of staff roles.
One, the Administrator, is simply the site creator. I deal with the most important of roles, such as banning and deleting spammers, trolls, and bad members. I also take care of all of the coding and skinning on the site, so if you find something ugly or broken, you can blame me. There will only be one Administrator on this site. Sorry. It has less to do with trusting you, and more to do with trusting your passwords. And if we get hacked through my account, I can take full responsibility and no one else has to deal with the trouble.
Two, the Global Moderators. They can ban members and moderate threads, posts, etc. They can accept bios. Listen to them, because they are usually the most experienced staff member. Administrators can only be so many places at once. Two global moderators are allowed on this site.
Three, the Moderators. They simply moderate posts and threads to make sure everything is order. They have more powers than regular members, therefore regular members should listen to what they have to say. In no way are they allowed to delete anything, therefore spammers and trolls should be reported to global moderators or the Administrator. Two moderators are allowed.
Four, the Representatives. They have powers that rival a member's but can get into the staff board. They are the ones you go to, to pass along ideas and what not. They are meant to tell what the members want so that the Administrator can add it. Unfortunately, I am not a God, therefore cannot always be on to answer questions and fix things. That is why I have representatives. If you have a question, ask them. There should always be three.
STAFF POSITIONS WILL BE GIVEN BY ME. DO NOT ASK. DO NOT BEG. YOU WILL BE AWARDED A POSITION IF I DEEM YOU WORTHY OF IT. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. I CANNOT REVOKE A POSITION FROM AN ACTIVE MEMBER TO GIVE TO SOMEONE ELSE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE POSITION, THEN I WILL GLADLY PASS IT ALONG.
