OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 200 word minimum for every post to prevent spam and encourage good role-playing techniques. Three word posts does not give your role play partner much to go off of.
  
• One account per member. If you create more than one account, all the additional accounts and the characters added to it will be deleted.
  
• Age minimum of 13, as stated in the Proboards TOS. We will reinforce it here. If we find you are in fact under the age of 13 we will disable your account until you become of-age. We will follow the rules of the host our site is provided by. If you cannot follow a simple rule then you will be banned.
  
• Email activation. It is required before you can take part in the site as a member that you verify your email. This is not in concern, too much, about spam or troll accounts, but because we may send out important information via email all. If your account is not verified than you will not receive important email updates. * If you would like to opt-out of mass emails then contact an admin and we will send you the information through another way.
  
• A positive and eager-to-learn attitude. We do not expect everyone in the planet to be English-native or English-fluent speakers. However, to take part i this site you must at least be willing to learn - as we must be willing to learn as well. People with a negative attitude or child-like "whatever" attitudes are not encouraged. We like behavioural maturity... however you can be just as crazy as you like otherwise.
  

OUR STORYLINE...

Year 2013...

Tensions between America and the Middle East increase sharply as terrorist attacks on United States soil claim lives in the thousands. When troops are once again sent in to flush out the active terrorist cells in Middle Eastern countries, people break out into riots and defiance. American extremists attack mosques in the United States and make hate crimes against Muslim or Middle Eastern families. In the Middle East, civilians are dying from suicide bombings and special ops raids. In the Middle East the leaders warn the United States that drastic action will be taken if their troops are not withdrawn immediately. The threat is ignored.

Four months later, six nuclear bombs detonate across the Western Coast, killing millions of people. The next day, dirty bombs and hydrogen bombs strike the Mid-West.

The American government declares an emergency situation and Martial Law is in effect - military action is aimed to protect civilians. Curfews are enforced, schools are closed, and families are urged to stay in their homes. Small groups of protest form. Membership in peace groups are minimal. Civilian population calls out for revenge.

In South Carolina, social leaders claim government ineffective and respond in violence to the National Guard. Several civilians and soldiers are killed.

Protests and riots erupt across several states.

Hundreds of civilians and guard soldiers are killed. Violence picks up.

All communications with other countries and outside world ends.

September of 2014.

Civilian Militia of two thousand assassinates United States president and congressmen. Takes control of remaining states of New England. John Regal Thrush becomes the new "president" and names the states the Republic of America. Tries to take over South. Civilians resist due to inefficient ruling and corruption in Thrush's government. Renown social leader, Adam Krane names the southern states the Southern Allies of America. Establishes mock-democratic government. Hurries draft for rapid military training to go to war with the Republic.

February of 2015

Rebellion begins in Massachusetts. RA military driven out as rebels create a firm stronghold. Leaders name themselves the "New Massachusetts." Due to heavy fortification, the RA military withdrew.

A month later, another stronghold rises in Michigan. To prevent a military disaster, the government of RA closes the entire state in a wall (land and sea). Starving civilians cry out for help and are ignored by RA leaders. Civilians begin shipping in emergency aid.

May of 2016

Group of travelers go to Canada to search for freedom. Find ruins of cities.

2038

Government of RA and SAA seek peace negotiations. Thousands of lives lost in previous wars.

Peace lasts for six years.

2044, RA sympathizer in SAA blows up shopping centre, killing hundreds. The RA denounces the attack as discord in the SAA. Republic citizen shot by soldier across border. Violence erupts. Peace forgotten. War continues.
